About the Role:
Leroc is looking for a practical, product-minded programmer to help us develop and launch web and mobile applications.
You will work with concepts and prototypes created using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, transforming them into reliable, secure, and polished products that people can use in the real world. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving quickly, solving ambiguous problems, and taking ownership from prototype through deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop web and mobile applications for Leroc.
- Turn ChatGPT- and Claude-generated prototypes into production-ready products.
- Evaluate prototype code, identify weaknesses, and improve its architecture, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Build responsive user interfaces, back-end services, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.
- Translate business ideas and user requirements into clear technical solutions.
- Test, debug, deploy, monitor, and maintain applications.
- Improve existing Leroc products and internal tools.
- Use AI-assisted development tools effectively while independently reviewing and validating all generated code.
- Document important technical decisions and communicate progress clearly.
- Collaborate with founders, designers, and other stakeholders throughout the product-development process.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
- Experience building and deploying complete applications.
- Proficiency with modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with back-end development using Node.js, Python, or comparable technologies.
- Familiarity with databases, APIs, authentication, cloud hosting, and version control.
- Ability to understand, refactor, test, and extend AI-generated code.
- Experience using ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or other AI development tools.
- Good judgment about when AI-generated output can be used, when it needs improvement, and when it should be rewritten.
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing mobile applications with React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Knowledge of product design and user experience principles.
- Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, analytics, monitoring, and application security.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-moving product environment.
- A portfolio of applications you have taken from idea or prototype to production.
