Founded in 2010, Alltex Exim is a trusted partner to India’s textile industry, supplying world-class raw materials that help manufacturers build products among the finest anywhere. Headquartered in Surat, we have exported to 13+ markets, with offices in Egypt and Bangladesh, and our portfolio spans polyester yarn, cotton yarn, dyed yarn, nylon yarn, PET chips, and many other yarn variants.
Over the next three years, we are expanding into multiple adjacent segments of the textile value chain, and bringing the operating side of the business into the modern era, new systems and AI now run across our operations. None of this replaces the relationships built over multiple years; it lets them scale.
THE ROLE
As a Business Development Executive at Alltex Exim, you will be responsible for market research and product development. You will build a deep technical understanding of yarns, fabrics, and textile products, and stay close to what is moving in the market. Your core work is researching and analyzing market and customer demand and helping develop new products in response. You will also build strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Market and product research — staying on top of what products exist in the market and what is newly emerging across segments
- Product development — working with the team to identify and develop new yarns, fabrics, and textile solutions in line with market trends
- Market and competitive intelligence — monitoring product trends, new technologies, competitor activity, and pricing movements across the textile industry
- Building deep technical knowledge of yarns, fabrics, and product construction
- Maintaining databases, product catalogues, pricing, and key product information
- Preparing reports and presentations on key findings for management
- Relationship management across key global stakeholders
- Representing Alltex Exim professionally in all interaction.
- Cross-functional coordination with internal teams and senior management

- Strong product and technical knowledge, a real understanding of yarns, fabrics, and how textile products are built and used

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Fresh graduates welcome, 0–2 years of experience; we are glad to train the right person
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Textile Chemistry, or a related textile discipline
- Strong interest in textile products, yarns, fabrics, product development, and how things are made
- Strong communication and fluent in English and Hindi, written and verbal, non-Indian languages are a plus but not a requirement
- Naturally curious and research-minded, capable of gathering information, identifying trends, and presenting actionable insights.
- Tech-savvy: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, MS Excel, and basic AI tools
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional, proactive, and capable of representing Alltex Exim with confidence and credibility
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- A degree or diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Textile Chemistry, or a related textile discipline.
- Genuine interest in textile products and materials, and curiosity about how yarns and fabrics are made.
- Interest in or exposure to market research, analysis, and product development.
- Strong analytical and research mindset, with good communication skills.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic business environment.
