Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to ensure high-quality software delivery through effective testing, defect tracking, and use of modern QA tools including AI-assisted testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute test cases, test plans, and scenarios
Perform manual testing (functional, regression, API/UI)
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira
Collaborate with developers/BA to understand requirements
Validate bug fixes and prevent regression issues
Participate in Agile ceremonies and QA reporting
Required Skills:
1–2 years of experience in software testing
Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and QA methodologies
Hands-on experience in manual testing and defect tracking tools
Familiarity with AI tools for QA/productivity (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot for test case generation, bug analysis)
Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, and web applications
Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Good to Have:
Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Postman)
Experience in Agile projects
Understanding of AI-driven testing concepts (test generation, defect prediction)
