We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Lead to design, develop, and lead the delivery of scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices, along with experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise applications.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable and secure Java applications.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Ensure application quality through automated testing, CI/CD, and SDLC best practices.
- Support production deployments and resolve application issues when required.
- 8–12+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Java (Java 8 or above).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture.
- Experience with Maven for build and dependency management.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and deployment automation.
- Experience with application performance tuning and monitoring tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
