Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
Years of experience:
5~10 yrs.
Nature of experience:

Exposure of
(4-wheeler / 2-Wheeler) & Automotive products

Basic knowledge of major manufacturing processes like welding / pressing / machining casting / molding / Heat treatment.

Work as an internal auditor / certified lead auditor for QMS
Job Role:
- Plan & execute Audit of Procedure & Systems for Quality Management of the supplier’s organization.
- Identify weak areas related to QMS.
- Guide suppliers to build robust systems based on best practices being followed in the industry to improve adherence.
- Improvement of weak areas and re-audit for confirmation.
- Thorough understanding of Quality Management Tools like PFMEA, 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, QFD, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, 8D etc.
- Organize & Conduct training sessions on QMS for Suppliers
- Plan and coordinate with other departments for getting the necessary quality inputs for required suppliers.
- Regularly compile best practices related to QMS being followed at various suppliers and OEMs.
- Engage and involve in supplier performance data analysis.
- Take lead in developing quality assurance strategies based on current challenges.
Competency Required:
a. Technical/Functional:
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
- Internal Auditor certification course for ISO 9001 / IATF- 16949.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Tools & Statistical techniques like SPC/ MSA/ FMEA/ PPAP/ APQP.
- Awareness about the latest updates on best in class industry practices.
