As an AI Engineer in the Analytics/AI team, you will design, build, and operate scalable AI and GenAI solutions that power intelligent analytics and data-driven decision-making platforms. You will work closely with product owners, data engineers, and business stakeholders to develop production-grade AI applications, including large language model (LLM) based systems, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and intelligent automation solutions.
This role requires strong hands-on engineering skills, practical AI/ML and GenAI knowledge, and the ability to independently drive complex initiatives from design through deployment in a cloud-native environment.
Work you'll do
As a Senior, Tax Technology Services on the Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) Analytics/AI team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence solutions from experimentation through production deployment
- Developing retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, model inference workflows, and application programming interfaces using Python and FastAPI
- Integrating structured and unstructured data sources using SQL, cloud services, and data processing tools to support scalable analytics solutions
- Deploying and operating workloads in Amazon Web Services, including services such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Lambda, DynamoDB, and Bedrock
- Supporting legacy analytics and extract, transform, load solutions and contributing to migration efforts to the Amazon Web Services stack
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to technical design, engineering standards, and delivery quality
The team
The Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) Analytics/AI team develops technology-enabled solutions that help support tax transformation and innovation. The team works across analytics, engineering, and business stakeholders to build scalable platforms, modernize existing capabilities, and apply artificial intelligence solutions to business needs.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 5-8 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or software engineering
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or another technical field
- Experience developing applications in Python, including application programming interfaces, testing, debugging, and automation
- Experience using SQL with structured and unstructured datasets
- Experience building generative artificial intelligence or large language model solutions, including prompt engineering, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, and vector databases
- 2+ Years Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, FastAPI, Docker, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines
- 2+ Years Experience using Amazon Web Services services such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Lambda, DynamoDB, Bedrock, and Boto3.
Preferred:
- Experience building artificial intelligence application user interfaces using Streamlit, Gradio, or React
- Experience with orchestration and stateful artificial intelligence workflows
- Experience with container orchestration or managed cloud environments
- Experience working on enterprise-scale artificial intelligence platforms or analytics products
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
- Experience using Keras, scikit-learn, XGBoost, or Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK)
