An MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Manager who is capable of taking care of the design, installation, and commissioning of building systems. Acting as the "conductor" of building services, they coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems to ensure they integrate seamlessly with civil and structural works.
- Design & Planning: Lead design reviews, validate load calculations and layouts, and ensure MEP designs are clash-free by coordinating with architects and structural engineers.
- Project Execution: Supervise day-to-day on-site activities, manage contractors/subcontractors, and ensure work follows approved shop drawings and method statements.
- Budget & Cost Control: Prepare project budgets, monitor procurement, and track costs to ensure the project remains financially viable.
- Quality & Safety: Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure all installations meet local codes, safety standards (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE), and client specifications.
Required Skills
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of MEP systems and engineering fundamentals.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project management tools.
- Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage diverse stakeholder expectations under tight deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Resolving technical clashes or execution challenges that arise on-site in real-time.
- Commissioning & Handover: Manage the testing and final commissioning of systems, ensuring all operation and maintenance manuals are prepared for a smooth handover to the client
