About the Role
We are looking for experienced and skilled Injection Moulding Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team for the production of cosmetics containers and packaging components.
This is a hands-on production role for trained and experienced operators who have strong practical knowledge of injection moulding operations and are comfortable independently operating and monitoring injection moulding machines.
Freshers are not being considered for this position. A minimum of 10 years of relevant injection moulding experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate injection moulding machines safely and efficiently for the production of cosmetics containers and packaging components.
- Set up and monitor machines according to approved production parameters.
- Ensure smooth and continuous production while maintaining required cycle times and output.
- Monitor machine performance and identify abnormalities during production.
- Carry out routine process checks and make appropriate adjustments within authorised parameters.
- Identify and report machine, mould or process-related issues.
- Monitor product quality and identify defects such as short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, burn marks and other moulding defects.
- Maintain the high visual and dimensional quality standards required for cosmetics packaging products.
- Minimise downtime, rejection and material wastage.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance, tooling and production teams when required.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised production area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and machine utilisation.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in injection moulding operations.
- Strong practical knowledge of injection moulding machines and production processes.
- Proven experience operating injection moulding machines independently.
- Good understanding of moulding parameters, cycle times, quality requirements and common injection moulding defects.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic process and machine-related issues.
- Experience in the production of cosmetics containers, packaging components or other high-quality plastic products is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Strong commitment to product quality, safety and production targets.
- Trained and experienced operators only — freshers will not be considered.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in:
- Cosmetics and personal-care packaging
- Plastic containers and packaging components
- High-volume injection moulding
- Mould changes and machine setup
- Process parameter optimisation
- Quality control of cosmetic/visual packaging products
- Material handling and production troubleshooting
will be preferred.
