Job Overview
Parnami Logistics ., acting as a CFA for Amul, is looking for an experienced Transport In-charge / Fleet In-charge to manage end-to-end fleet operations across Delhi NCR. The candidate will be responsible for driver hiring, vehicle placement, fleet management, POD clearance, traffic coordination, fuel cost control, vehicle documentation, and transport MIS.
The position is based at our Bhati (Asola Fatehpur Beri) facility and will oversee transportation activities across Chattarpur, Alipur, and Azadpur operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management
- Manage daily operations of Tata Ace, Bolero Pickup, Chota Hathi, Tata Intra, Dost, and other LCV vehicles.
- Ensure optimum fleet utilization and vehicle availability.
- Monitor vehicle movement and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and breakdown management.
Driver Hiring & Management
- Recruit, onboard, and retain drivers.
- Maintain driver attendance and deployment records.
- Verify driving licenses and driver documentation.
- Manage driver performance and discipline.
Vehicle Placement & Dispatch
- Arrange daily vehicle placement as per dispatch requirements.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams.
- Ensure timely vehicle reporting and dispatch execution.
POD Management
- Collect, verify, and maintain POD records.
- Follow up for pending PODs.
- Coordinate POD closure with billing and operations teams.
Traffic Operations
- Monitor vehicle movement across Delhi NCR.
- Coordinate loading, unloading, and delivery activities.
- Handle delays, route deviations, and transportation escalations.
Costing & MIS
- Monitor fuel consumption and transportation costs.
- Verify trip sheets and transport records.
- Prepare fleet utilization reports and MIS.
- Maintain vehicle-wise operational and costing data.
Vehicle Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain RC, Insurance, Fitness, Permit, PUC, Road Tax, and Fastag records.
- Track document renewals and expiry dates.
- Ensure 100% fleet compliance.
