Job Summary:
Hiring for a manufacturing company located in Vasai East, Gauraipada. The organization is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality systems, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Systems & Standards
- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO, IATF, or other applicable quality management systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, statutory requirements, and customer-specific requirements.
- Inspection & Testing
- Establish procedures for incoming material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing.
- Monitor quality performance and take corrective actions where necessary.
- Process Control & Improvement
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen methodologies.
- Monitor and analyse production processes to identify areas for waste reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Team Management
- Supervise and train quality inspectors, engineers, and support staff.
- Provide coaching and support to cross-functional teams on quality requirements.
- Customer & Supplier Quality
- Manage customer complaints, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (such as ISO or similar frameworks)
- Familiarity with quality tools such as root cause analysis, process improvement, and inspection techniques
- Good leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office
