Receptionist / Student Counsellor
Reports To: HR and Admin Manager / Centre Head
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in front office or customer-facing roles, preferably in an educational set-up or service industry.
Role Summary:
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and external stakeholders, responsible for managing the front office, handling enquiries, and ensuring a welcoming, professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk, greet visitors warmly, and ensure a professional and student-friendly environment.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries, providing accurate information or routing to the appropriate department.
- Maintain visitor logs, issue visitor passes, and coordinate with security/housekeeping as needed.
- Support student and parent interactions such as forms collection, appointment scheduling, and basic information on programmes and timings.
- Coordinate courier/parcel receipt and dispatch, ensuring proper records.
- Maintain front office area, notice boards, and information displays in an organised and updated manner.
- Assist in organising meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and small events at the centre.
- Provide administrative support including basic data entry, document preparation, and filing as assigned.
- Ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
- Escalate urgent issues or complaints to the concerned manager promptly.

- Professionalism and hospitality standards at the front office.
- Accuracy and timeliness in handling enquiries and directing calls/visitors.
- Feedback from students, parents, and staff on front office experience.
- Orderliness and readiness of reception area and notice boards.
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
