Key Responsibilities:
Design and Planning:
· Develop conceptual interior designs and detailed blueprints for new buildings, alterations, or entire complexes.
· Create detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
· Use computer-aided design (CAD) and other software to create 2D and 3D models.
Technical & Regulatory Compliance:
· Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes, safety standards, and local planning regulations.
· Conduct feasibility studies and compile reports on environmental impact.
· Research and select appropriate building materials and finishes.
On-Site Supervision:
· Visit construction sites to review progress and ensure work is being executed according to the architectural plans.
· Resolve issues that arise during the construction process.
Essential Skills
· Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit), 3D modelling, and a strong understanding of design principles.
Creativity:
· Strong creative and visualization skills to develop innovative and appealing designs.
Communication:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and presentations.
Project Management:
· Ability to manage projects, coordinate teams, and adhere to deadlines and budgets.
Technical Knowledge:
· Strong understanding of building codes, regulatory standards, and construction practices.
