Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and student-focused Student Counsellor to support prospective and current students throughout their educational journey. The ideal candidate will provide academic and career guidance, handle admission enquiries, build strong relationships with students and parents, and help students choose the right course based on their interests and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, admissions, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, social media, and walk-ins.
- Guide students in selecting suitable academic programs based on their interests and career aspirations.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Organize counselling sessions, seminars, workshops, and campus events.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and educational partners.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets while maintaining excellent service standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Freshers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, presentation, and counselling skills.
- Good convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is preferred.
