Position: Commis – Hot Kitchen
JOB LOCATION: Govandi, Mumbai
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Commis to join our Hot Kitchen team and support daily kitchen operations while maintaining excellent food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist chefs in preparing hot food items as per standard recipes
- Handle basic cooking tasks including "chopping, grilling, sautéing & plating"
- Support daily kitchen preparation and "mise en place"
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen
- Follow food safety and quality standards
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Degree in "Hotel Management or Culinary Arts"
- Basic knowledge of "Hot Kitchen operations"
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a "fast-paced kitchen environment"
- Good teamwork and communication skills
