Job Title: Welding Robot Machine Operator
Department: Production / Manufacturing

Job Summary:
The Welding Robot Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining robotic welding systems used in the fabrication of solar module structures, frames, or mounting components. The role ensures high-quality welds, adherence to production targets, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor robotic welding machines for solar component manufacturing
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts onto welding fixtures
- Set up welding parameters (e.g., current, voltage, speed) as per specifications
- Inspect welded components to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding robots and equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot minor technical issues in robotic systems
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for major repairs or breakdowns
- Maintain production records and log sheets accurately
- Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards at all times
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce defects
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of robotic welding systems (e.g., MIG/TIG welding)
- Understanding of technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled machines is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
- Certification in welding or robotic operation (preferred)
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in welding operations or robotic manufacturing
- Experience in solar, automotive, or heavy fabrication industries preferred
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing/plant environment
- Exposure to heat, noise, and welding equipment
- Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is mandatory
