Qualifications
- Education: ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Trade or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 1–3 years in manufacturing or engineering industries (Freshers with ITI may also be considered for trainee roles).
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues, repairing machines, and ensuring maximum equipment availability with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults in machines and equipment.
- Repair and replace defective mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, gears, couplings, belts, chains, seals, and bushes.
- Assemble, dismantle, align, and install mechanical equipment.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform machine alignment using appropriate tools.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures.
- Ensure lubrication schedules are followed for all machines.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Maintain maintenance records and job completion reports.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and SOPs.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain 5S standards in the maintenance workshop and work areas.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and productivity.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
