Job Description – Site Engineer (Electrical) Position: Site engineer – Electrical Department: Projects / Construction Experience: 5–10 years Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering Location: Project Site Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise electrical site activities from execution through completion. Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical specifications. Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site execution. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other project teams. Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed as per schedule and quality standards. Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, applicable codes, and project specifications. Inspect completed work and resolve technical/site-related issues. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation. Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage. Support testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and project handover. Required Skills Strong knowledge of electrical installation and site execution. Experience with LT/HT systems, panels, cables, earthing, lighting, DG, transformers, and electrical equipment. Good knowledge of electrical drawings and BOQ. Strong manpower and subcontractor management skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines. Knowledge of MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage. Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity. Preferred Experience Experience in commercial buildings, industrial projects, residential projects, infrastructure, or MEP projects will be preferred.
