Job Summary
The QMS Executive/Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards and customer requirements. The role ensures compliance with quality, environmental, health & safety, and social compliance management systems while driving continuous improvement across all departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management System
- Implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Develop, review, and control SOPs, Work Instructions, Formats, Policies, and Quality Manuals.
- Maintain document control and record management as per QMS requirements.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure process compliance.
Internal & External Audits
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits.
- Coordinate customer, certification, and surveillance audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, checklists, reports, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and non-conformities.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements.
- Support implementation and maintenance of:
- SEDEX
- SLCP
- Higg Index (FEM/FSLM)
- FSC Certification (preferred)
- GMP / 5S / Lean Manufacturing initiatives
- Coordinate management review meetings and maintain records.
CAPA & Continuous Improvement
- Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
- Monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Drive Kaizen, Lean, and Continuous Improvement projects.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain quality KPIs and monthly MIS reports.
- Monitor process performance indicators.
- Maintain calibration records, risk registers, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare quality performance reports for management review.
Training
- Conduct QMS awareness and ISO training programs.
- Train employees on SOPs, quality standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, PPC, HR, and EHS departments.
- Support new process implementation and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure customer quality requirements are effectively communicated across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Printing Technology, or related field.
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor Certification in ISO standards is preferred.
ExperienceExecutive
- 2–5 years of experience in QMS/IMS in Printing & Packaging or Manufacturing.
Senior Executive
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
Assistant Manager
- 8–12 years of experience in QMS, audits, and compliance management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Experience with SEDEX, SLCP, Higg Index, FSC, and customer audits.
- Excellent documentation and document control skills.
- Knowledge of CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Risk Assessment, and PDCA.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
