FINANCE | Corporate Treasury
We're a team of specialists charged with managing the firm’s funding, liquidity, capital and relationships with creditors and regulators. Corporate Treasury manages the firm’s financial resources and minimizes interest expense through liability planning, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio yield enhancement. The division is ideal for collaborative individuals who have strong quantitative analysis skills and risk management capabilities since Treasury actively manages the firm’s financial resources which are constantly changing due to business activity, markets, risk appetite, regulations and other factors.
Your Impact
We’re looking for a professional to join our Treasury team in our Bangalore office. A successful candidate will be able to utilize their skills and ideas to manage liquidity of Goldman Sachs, participate in exciting firmwide strategy initiatives, and work collaboratively with other departments and teams to ensure the firm is well-prepared for normal business as well as for stressed scenarios. It is a great opportunity to make a direct impact to the bottom line through funding, capital, and other resource efficiencies. Strong communication and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment are essential to work successfully with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Job Summary And Responsibilities

Responsible for managing and optimizing the Firm’s liquidity pool across various currencies and instruments (cash and securities)

Monitor and explain Treasury’s (Cash & Collateral) P&L and Risk (FX Delta, IRXccy etc.) by working closely with other stakeholders

Perform critical analysis of Firm’s liquidity requirement by factoring in Firm’s short, medium and long term liquidity needs

Manage key liquidity risk management metrics to manage day-to-day risks

Work closely with global funding team, traders and other divisions in managing the firm’s liquidity

Manage currency funding in close co-ordination with currency traders
Basic Qualifications
-
3 to 5 years of prior experience in Finance related functions
-
Ability to interact and build relationships with people from different departments and levels of seniority

Good understanding of financial markets, fixed income products, and funding products
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Basic understanding of liquidity risk metrics and liquidity management
Preferred Qualifications

Highly-motivated with good commercial perspective and ability to lead projects and cross-divisional initiatives

Ability to work on multiple projects with a high attention to detail and good judgment on prioritization

Strong excel, tableau, and/or programming skills
