We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with expertise in Jigs and Fixture Design to support manufacturing operations by developing efficient and cost-effective tooling solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of process design, jig and fixture development, and hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing tools based on production requirements.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and develop suitable process design solutions to improve productivity and quality.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure tooling designs meet operational requirements.
- Review and optimize existing jigs and fixtures for improved efficiency and cost reduction.
- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
- Support prototype development, testing, and implementation of designed fixtures.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Jigs & Fixture Design.
- Good knowledge of Process Design in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling and drafting).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T principles.
