Key Responsibility & Accountability
- Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness
- Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action
- To ensure that Bio-Medical Waste Management Protocols are followed as per the pollution control Board
- To co-ordinate with the nursing and patient services department for the performance of ward assistants who are assisting the patient / nurse / ward assistant
- Records data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, and time cards, and prepares periodic reports as per policy or required by Management
- To be responsible for infection control free environment in the hospital especially in the critical areas
- To conduct regular meetings with all the contract launderers to ensure proper washing of linen and to avoid linen mishandling
- Attend staff meetings to discuss company policies and complaints : makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
- Daily supervision of the housekeeping staff, including the day, event and post-event crews
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct Knowledge of NABH etc. and safety standards within Housekeeping department.
- To look after waste management and control infection from hospital i.e. control infection by ensuring room sterilization after every discharge by carbonizing / fumigation
- To ensure that all the employees are trained/oriented about the quality systems of the department
- Maintain all registers as per required by Hospital policy and quality standards and instructed by superiors
Qualification :
- Education: Graduation is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a hospital environment.
Salary is negotiable for deserving candidates.
Note : Duties assigned in rotational shifts
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
