Tour Consultant – Job Role & Responsibilities
A Tour Consultant helps customers plan, book, and enjoy travel packages by providing expert advice and complete travel solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer travel needs (destination, budget, dates)
- Suggest suitable tour packages (domestic & international)
- Explain itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, and policies clearly
- Handle bookings for flights, hotels, tours, and visas (if applicable)
- Coordinate with vendors, hotels, and transport providers
- Assist customers before and during travel
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally
- Maintain booking records and follow up with clients
- Promote company offers and special packages
