Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new corporate, government, travel agent, and social event clients.
- Generate leads through cold calls, client visits, networking, and referrals.
- Promote hotel rooms, banquet halls, conference facilities, and catering services.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the management.
- Prepare competitive quotations and negotiate contracts with clients.
Banquet Sales
- Market banquet halls for weddings, receptions, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, birthdays, and other social events.
- Conduct hotel and banquet site inspections for prospective clients.
- Coordinate with the Banquet Operations and Kitchen teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Follow up with clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, travel agents, and wedding planners.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Resolve client concerns in coordination with the relevant departments.
- Encourage repeat business through excellent customer service.
Coordination
- Work closely with Front Office, Banquet Operations, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Finance departments.
- Ensure all event requirements are communicated accurately to the operational teams.
- Attend daily briefings and sales meetings.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor banquet bookings, room reservations, and event schedules.
- Ensure contracts, event orders, and billing instructions are completed correctly.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends.
- Identify new business opportunities within the local market.
- Recommend sales strategies to increase hotel occupancy and banquet revenue.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 0–3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in a four-star or five-star hotel.
- Experience in banquet and event sales is preferred.
Skills Required
