Job Summary
A GDA Trainer teaches students basic patient care and hospital support skills. The trainer provides both theory and practical training to prepare students for work in hospitals and healthcare centers.
Main Responsibilities
1. Classroom Teaching
The trainer should:
- Teach healthcare subjects and patient care basics
- Explain hygiene, nutrition, anatomy, and infection control
- Conduct communication and employability skill sessions

3. Skill Lab Duties
The trainer should:
- Maintain discipline in the lab
- Ensure equipment availability
- Supervise students during practical sessions
- Support students during hospital visits
4. Student Support
The trainer should:
- Guide and mentor students
- Monitor attendance and performance
- Help weak students improve
- Prepare students for interviews and jobs
5. Assessment Work
The trainer should:
- Conduct theory and practical tests
- Prepare assignments and question papers
- Maintain student records and reports
6. Administrative Duties
The trainer should:
- Prepare lesson plans
- Maintain attendance records
- Coordinate with management
- Follow HSSC guidelines
Educational Qualification
Eligible candidates:
- MBBS / BAMS / BHMS
- OR
- B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
OR
- GNM (General Nursing Midwifery)Experience
- 1–2 years of healthcare experience preferred
- Teaching experience is an added advantage
