Job Summary
An experienced HVAC Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing detailed and accurate HVAC cost estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The role involves tender analysis, quantity take-offs, cost control, vendor negotiations, and supporting project execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze tender documents, HVAC drawings, and specifications
Prepare detailed HVAC cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets
Perform accurate quantity take-offs for ducting, piping, equipment, insulation, and accessories
Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions
Conduct cost comparison and value engineering
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams
Support post-tender clarifications and negotiations
Assist in project cost control and budgeting
Maintain historical cost data and estimation records
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and project standards
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 1 years of experience in HVAC estimation
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and pricing
Expertise in reading MEP drawings and specifications
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools
Experience in GCC / Middle East HVAC projects (preferred)
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
