Job Responsibilities:
Plumber
· Operating the generator during power failure.
· Attending to the telephone complaints.
· Ensuring round the clock UPS supply in the hospital.
· Maintaining all motors and pump sets.
· Taking care of all the electrical complaints.
· Keeping power house neat and clean.
· Water level of the both salt and pure water are checked and maintained.
· Plumbing work like compliance regarding the pipe lines
· Fixing new pipe connections.
· Cleaning the drainage.
· All toilets and pump set maintaining.
· Keep necessary records for inspection and documentation for NABH program
· Coordinate emergency services with other medical and supportive activities.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the HOD
· Adhere to the rules and regulations of the hospital and assures that work performed is in keeping with the established standards.
· Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
AC Technician
· Install air conditioning systems (split, window, central HVAC).
· Set up central HVAC systems used in operation theatres, ICUs, labs, and wards.
· Ensure systems meet hospital standards (temperature, humidity, air quality).
· Perform routine preventive maintenance of AC units and HVAC systems.
· Clean filters, ducts, coils, and vents regularly.
· Check refrigerant levels, compressors, and electrical components.
· Maintain logs of servicing schedules.
· Maintain precise temperature and humidity levels, especially in:
· Operation theatres (OT)
· Intensive Care Units (ICU)
· Laboratories
· Ensure proper airflow and ventilation to reduce infection risks.
· Monitor systems like HEPA filters and air handling units (AHU).
· Diagnose faults in AC/HVAC systems.
· Repair compressors, motors, thermostats, and wiring issues.
· Respond quickly to breakdowns, especially in critical areas like OTs.
· Follow hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
· Ensure HVAC systems comply with healthcare standards.
· Handle refrigerants safely and follow environmental regulations.
· Maintain service records and maintenance logs.
· Report major faults or replacement needs to supervisors.
· Keep track of spare parts and inventory.
· Work with biomedical engineers, electricians, and facility management teams.
· Assist during inspections and audits.
· Support emergency situations (e.g., AC failure in ICU).
· Be available for on-call duty.
· Handle urgent repairs in critical zones where failure can affect patient care.
· Keep necessary records for inspection and documentation for NABH program

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
