Information Protection Analyst
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Information Protection Analyst (Data Governance team) to support the implementation and ongoing management of our data governance framework. This role focuses on operationalizing governance policies, maintaining data quality, supporting data classification and discovery efforts, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure data is well-managed, secure, and compliant.
The Data Governance Analyst plays a key role in data stewardship, monitoring data governance processes, and assisting with tool administration to promote trusted and governed data across the organization.

Support the implementation and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and procedures.

Assist in data discovery, classification, and cataloging efforts using data governance and DSPM tools.

Monitor and report on data quality metrics, compliance adherence, and data stewardship activities.

Assist in maintaining and updating data inventories, metadata repositories, and lineage documentation.

Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and IT teams to address data governance issues and remediation.

Participate in data risk assessments, control testing, and regulatory compliance audits.

Help manage governance tool configurations, user access, and workflow automation.
-
Provide training and support to data steward teams and end-users on governance principles and tool usage.

Support the preparation of regular data governance status reports and dashboards for leadership.
What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

2+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, data management, or related operational roles.

Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data cataloging, or metadata management concepts.

Hands-on experience with one or more data governance, catalog, or data quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Talend, BigID).

Understanding of data privacy regulations (such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and data security basics.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data architecture is a plus.
