Job Title: Senior HR Manager
Location: Bosco Group of Schools – Head Office, Dombivli
About the Role
Bosco Group of Schools is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function across all our institutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR strategy, talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and organizational development while ensuring a positive and professional work culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies for teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Lead end-to-end hiring, including sourcing, interviews, salary negotiations, and onboarding.
- Build a strong talent pipeline for leadership and critical positions.
HR Operations
- Manage employee lifecycle from joining to separation.
- Maintain HR policies, employee records, and documentation.
- Oversee attendance, leave management, probation confirmations, and HRIS records.
Performance Management
- Design and implement KPI-based performance appraisal systems.
- Monitor employee performance, promotions, increments, and development plans.
- Guide department heads in conducting effective performance reviews.
Employee Relations
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Resolve employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Conduct counselling sessions, investigations, and issue warning letters when required.
Policy & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Develop and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and organize professional development programs.
- Develop leadership and succession planning initiatives.
- Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees.
Compensation & Benefits
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the Accounts Department.
- Manage salary structures, annual increments, incentives, and employee benefits.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation analysis.
Strategic HR
- Partner with senior management to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Prepare HR reports, manpower planning, and workforce analytics.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/MSW in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the education sector will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance.
- Proven expertise in recruitment and talent management.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in HRMS, Microsoft Office, and HR analytics.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
