Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Angular Developer to design, build, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications for our enterprise platform. The ideal candidate combines strong front-end engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience using AI coding tools, and works comfortably within an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to improve development speed, code quality, and testing coverage.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable Angular components.
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and backend microservices.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, UX designers, and QA teams within Agile/Scrum sprints.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications, including supporting migration from legacy AngularJS where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years of front-end development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Angular (Angular 2+ through current versions).
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools in a professional development workflow.
- Experience with state management approaches (RxJS, NgRx) and component-based architecture.
- Experience consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and integrating with backend services.
- Familiarity with responsive design frameworks such as Angular Material, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, or Protractor).
- Working knowledge of build tools (Webpack, npm/yarn) and Git-based version control.
- Comfortable working within an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
Good to Have
- Working knowledge of legacy AngularJS and experience supporting AngularJS-to-Angular migrations.
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures.
- Exposure to building AI-powered UI features such as chat interfaces, copilots, or conversational widgets.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployment.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
