The CCTV Surveillance Operator is responsible for monitoring live CCTV cameras and reviewing recorded footage (playback) to identify any suspicious activities, incidents, or security issues. The operator must maintain accurate records and report findings to the concerned department.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor live CCTV cameras from the control room.
Review and analyze recorded CCTV footage when required.
Identify and report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or incidents.
Maintain daily monitoring logs and incident reports.
Retrieve and share footage for investigation when requested by authorized personnel.
Ensure all CCTV systems are functioning properly and report technical issues.
Maintain confidentiality of all surveillance data.
Assist management or security teams during investigations.
Requirements:
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to observe and analyze video footage carefully.
Good attention to detail.
Basic reporting and documentation skills.
Preferred:
Experience in CCTV monitoring or security surveillance.
Knowledge of DVR/NVR systems.
