We are hiring Insurance Sales Executives for RGL's inbound and outbound sales process covering Health Insurance, Motor Insurance, and Life Insurance products. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer needs, explaining insurance products clearly, and converting prospects into policyholders. This is a target-driven role with attractive fixed salaries and unlimited incentives — ideal for candidates with good communication, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact prospective customers through assigned leads (inbound / outbound calling) and explain insurance products clearly
- Understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable Health, Motor, or Life Insurance plans
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as set by the team leader
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and policy conversions in the CRM system
- Handle customer objections effectively and build trust through product knowledge and honest communication
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth policy issuance and documentation
- Follow up with prospects who have shown interest but have not yet converted
- Stay updated on RGL's insurance product portfolio, pricing, and competitor offerings
- Attend daily team briefings, training sessions, and performance review meetings
Products You Will Sell
– Individual health plans, family floater plans, top-up policies
– Mediclaim, critical illness, OPD covers
– Two-wheeler and four-wheeler insurance (Third-party + Comprehensive)
– Policy renewal, add-on covers, zero depreciation
– Term life, endowment, ULIP, and savings-linked plans
– Pure protection and investment-cum-insurance products
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good verbal communication in English
- Confident, persuasive, and customer-friendly approach
- Basic understanding of insurance concepts (training will be provided)
- Target-oriented mindset with self-motivation
- Basic computer / smartphone literacy for CRM data entry
- Ability to handle rejection positively and persist with follow-ups
- Punctual, disciplined, and team-player attitude
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification -Minimum 12th Pass (HSC) — Any Stream / Board
- Experience - Fresher and experience both can apply
Location
- Thane, Mumbai — Candidates residing locally preferred
Preferred Background (Good to Have)
- Prior experience in insurance / banking / NBFC / tele-sales
- Knowledge of insurance products like HDFC Ergo, Star Health, LIC, ICICI Lombard, etc.
- IRDAI certification (IC38) — candidates with this will be preferred
- Local knowledge of Thane / Navi Mumbai area for field-based roles
- 6 days working - Monday to Saturday
- Shift Timing -9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
