Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, generating leads, and achieving sales and revenue targets. The role involves promoting automotive products and services, understanding customer requirements, and expanding the company’s customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the automotive and commercial vehicle market.
- Generate leads through market visits, referrals, networking, digital platforms, and customer references.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Visit customers, transporters, fleet owners, corporate clients, and other potential business partners.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles, products, or automotive services.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development and sales targets.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers in coordination with the concerned teams.
- Follow up regularly with prospective customers and convert leads into business.
- Conduct market research to identify competitors, customer trends, and new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth customer support.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer meetings, follow-ups, quotations, and sales activities.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
- Support customer negotiations and assist in closing business deals.
- Ensure timely follow-up for payments and other customer-related requirements where applicable.
- Prepare regular sales and business development reports for management.

Qualification & Experience
- Education: Graduate / Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in automotive sales, business development, commercial vehicles, fleet sales, or a related industry.
- Experience with commercial vehicles, fleet customers, transporters, or dealership operations will be an advantage.
