Join our dynamic CAE Unit at BMWTechWorks India, where you will play a key role in supporting BMW’s vehicle development by conducting advanced CFD simulations of vehicles and powertrain components. What should you bring along
We are looking for motivated professionals with a strong interest in 1D-thermal simulation and vehicle development, who are ready to take ownership of simulation tasks and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. A proactive mindset, analytical skills, and attention to detail will help you succeed in this role.
Must have technical skill

Ideally, experience with GT-Cool (Gamma technologies);
-
Broad thermodynamics experience, especially in validating built models and results; direct experience in cooling design would be even better.

Experience in setting up cooling circuits from 3D (with GEM3D) as well as calibrating them both for the overall system and individual components.
Advanced Excel VBA skills, including proficiency in - ing and modifying macros, preparing characteristic maps, and variant lists.

Knowledge of Python or Matlab is also beneficial.

Strong methodological approach to support the development of new models and drive concepts.

Basic knowledge of vehicle powertrain systems and their simulation requirements

Strong communication skills to effectively present technical findings
