Job Summary
Cold Chain Solution is looking for a dynamic Procurement Executive to source fresh fruits and vegetables from farmers, FPOs, traders, aggregators, and wholesale markets. The candidate will be responsible for procurement planning, vendor development, price negotiation, quality assessment, and ensuring timely procurement to support smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source fresh fruits and vegetables from farmers, FPOs, traders, aggregators, and wholesale markets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor prices, crop availability, and quality.
- Negotiate purchase prices and procurement terms with suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement based on demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and quality teams for seamless operations.
- Verify the quality and quantity of procured produce before dispatch.
- Maintain procurement records, purchase reports, and vendor databases.
- Identify new sourcing locations and reliable suppliers to strengthen the supply network.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and food safety requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, agriculture, or supply chain.
- Freshers with relevant knowledge and a willingness to travel are encouraged to apply.
Skills Required
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of agricultural markets and fresh produce procurement.
- Vendor management and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and procurement documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sourcing activities.
Mandatory Requirement
- Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving licence.
- Must be willing to travel extensively for supplier visits, market surveys, and procurement activities.
Preferred Candidate
- Familiarity with wholesale markets, mandis, FPOs, and farmer networks.
- Ability to assess produce quality and make quick procurement decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.90 - ₹25,324.73 per month
