Power Mechanical Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing heavy industrial machinery, with an added focus on promoting service contracts, spare parts, or equipment upgrades to clients. This role requires high technical proficiency in mechanical fitting combined with strong communication skills to interact with clients regarding their equipment needs. - Installation & Maintenance: Assemble, align, and install machinery such as compressors, DG sets, blowers, and conveyors.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on boilers, turbines, pumps, and heat exchangers to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical failures and perform repairs, including welding and pipe fitting.
- Precision Work: Use precision instruments and read blueprints to ensure equipment is aligned within specified tolerances. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
