Key Responsibilities:
System Support & Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot HIS/EMR systems, servers, networks (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), and hardware.
User Support & Training: Provide technical helpdesk support to doctors, nurses, and administrative staff; troubleshoot software/hardware issues.
Data Security & Compliance: Ensure data security, integrity, and daily backups in compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA, NABH).
Vendor Management: Coordinate with external IT vendors for equipment repairs, software updates, and IT service maintenance.
IT Asset Management: Maintain an inventory of all IT assets, computers, and software licenses.
Technical Implementation: Install, configure, and upgrade hospital applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications and Skills
Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows Server, networking principles, hospital software (HIS), and database management.
Competencies: Strong troubleshooting ability, good communication, ability to handle high-pressure environments, and data security awareness.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (e.g., BSc/BCA). 1 – 3 plus years of experience, ideally in a hospital or healthcare environment.
