The Telecaller will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls related to patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and feedback collection. The role ensures smooth communication between patients and hospital departments while maintaining high standards of customer service and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls from patients and visitors courteously and professionally.
- Make outbound calls to confirm appointments, follow up on reports, or remind patients of upcoming visits.
- Provide information about hospital services, doctors’ availability, consultation timings, and procedures.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments in the hospital management system.
- Record and update patient details accurately in the database.
- Coordinate with departments (OPD, Diagnostics, Billing, etc.) to resolve patient queries.
- Collect and document patient feedback to improve service quality.
- Maintain a record of daily calls, inquiries, and follow-ups for reporting purposes.
- Handle patient complaints and escalate complex issues to the appropriate authority.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information as per hospital policies.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and local language(s).
- Customer service orientation and a polite, empathetic attitude.
- Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management or CRM software.
- Ability to multi-task and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
