About the Role
UrbanRoof Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Ad Hoc Professor – Civil Engineering to support our academic, technical, and professional development initiatives. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical sessions, mentoring students/trainees, and sharing practical industry knowledge related to civil engineering and construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) is required.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related specialization will be an advantage.
- Prior teaching, training, consulting, or industry experience in Civil Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Working knowledge of relevant engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Revit, MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:
- Building and structural construction
- Residential and commercial projects
- Construction project management
- Structural design and analysis
- Estimation, costing, and quantity surveying
- Site engineering and supervision
- Building information modelling (BIM)
- Sustainable and green building practices
- Construction safety and quality management
Engagement
This is an Ad Hoc / Visiting Professor position. Engagement may be based on lectures, workshops, training programs, or specific technical requirements.
The role is suitable for experienced Civil Engineering professors, lecturers, consultants, retired faculty members, practicing civil engineers, and industry professionals who are interested in sharing their technical expertise.
