About Medhavi Skills University
Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. As a pioneering institution in the convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education, MSU aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020). Recognized by the UGC and established in 2021, MSU collaborates with industries and Skill Development Institutes to offer work-integrated courses, embedding on-the-job internships and training within the curriculum. Role Overview:
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and brand storytelling. You will work closely with the creative and marketing team to produce high-quality video content that drives engagement and
growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Add motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and subtitles
- Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines
- Stay updated with video trends.
- Manage raw footage and maintain organized file structures
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in film production, Media Studies, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field
- 3-4 years of video editing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong understanding of video formats and social media platforms
- Creativity and strong storytelling ability
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
