About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customers’ travel requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Explain travel packages, itineraries, inclusions, exclusions, pricing, and terms clearly.
- Handle customer inquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Generate leads, follow up with prospective customers, and convert inquiries into bookings.
- Prepare customized itineraries and travel proposals based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with customers regarding bookings, payments, documents, visas, permits, tickets, and other travel arrangements.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with customers before, during, and after the booking process.
- Maintain accurate customer and booking records.
- Coordinate with internal teams, hotels, transport providers, airlines, and other travel partners.
- Resolve customer queries and provide timely assistance throughout the travel process.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good customer-handling and negotiation skills.
- Strong sales and follow-up abilities.
- Basic knowledge of travel packages, destinations, and tourism services.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, MS Office, and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, professional personality, and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in travel sales, tour operations, or customer service will be an advantage.
