About the Role
Stark Communication – CAD Institute is looking for a creative and passionate **Interior Designer Trainer** to train students in interior design concepts, drafting, visualization, and industry-standard design software. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring aspiring interior designers.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver classroom and practical training in Interior Design concepts and space planning.
* Train students in **AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Revit (preferred), and Photoshop**.
* Explain design principles including color theory, lighting, furniture layout, materials, and modular design.
* Conduct hands-on exercises, live projects, assignments, and software practice sessions.
* Guide students in portfolio development and project presentations.
* Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assessments, and practical assignments.
* Monitor student performance, attendance, and provide regular feedback.
* Keep students updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and design technologies.
* Assist in workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and placement preparation.
* Coordinate with the academic team to ensure quality training delivery and student success. These responsibilities reflect common expectations for interior design trainer roles in training institutes.
Required Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
* Minimum **1–2 years** of professional experience in Interior Design or Interior Design Training.
* Strong command of AutoCAD and at least two major visualization tools (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, or Revit).
* Good presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.
* Passion for teaching and guiding students.
* Industry project experience will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of residential, commercial, and modular interior projects.
* Strong visualization and rendering skills.
* Ability to manage multiple batches and practical lab sessions.
* Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with AI-based design tools is an added advantage.
