Job Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end import documentation and shipment coordination.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and transporters.
- Prepare and verify import documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, Certificate of Origin, Insurance Certificate, and other shipping documents.
- Ensure timely customs clearance by coordinating with Customs House Agents (CHA).
- Track shipment status and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
- Process purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Verify import duty, GST, and other applicable charges.
- Coordinate with finance for payment processing, duty payments, and vendor invoices.
- Maintain accurate import records and documentation for audits and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI, and other applicable import regulations.
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and logistics-related issues.
- Prepare MIS reports related to imports, shipment status, and cost analysis.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Import Documentation and Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP, etc.).
- Understanding of Customs Clearance Procedures.
- Knowledge of DGFT, ICEGATE, and import compliance.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
