Job Summary
Black Opal Ventures LLP is looking for a skilled Electrician to execute electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work at residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in construction site electrification, temporary power arrangements, building wiring, and preventive maintenance while ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, DBs, MCBs, and electrical panels.
- Carry out internal and external electrical wiring as per approved drawings.
- Install and maintain temporary electrical connections and site distribution boards.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and rectify breakdowns promptly.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure proper earthing, cable laying, conduit installation, and cable termination.
- Monitor DG sets, pumps, motors, and other electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with MEP engineers, civil teams, and contractors for smooth execution of electrical works.
- Maintain daily work reports and material consumption records.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures and use PPE while working.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards and statutory safety requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- ITI Electrician (Mandatory)
- Wireman/Electrician License will be an added advantage.
- 3–8 years of experience in residential, commercial, or high-rise construction projects.
- Experience in real estate/construction companies preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, conduit installation, and cable laying.
- Understanding of electrical drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of electrical panels, MCBs, RCCBs, DBs, and earthing systems.
- Experience in electrical fault finding and preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and site safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and under project deadlines.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in residential township, villa, or high-rise projects.
- Knowledge of temporary construction power systems.
- Experience working with DG sets, water pumps, lighting systems, and construction equipment.
