About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide prospective and existing students in making informed academic and career decisions. The ideal candidate will counsel students regarding courses, educational pathways, admissions processes, and career opportunities while supporting enrollment and student retention objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling
- Provide academic and career guidance to prospective and enrolled students.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds, goals, and interests to recommend suitable programs.
- Assist students in selecting courses aligned with their academic and career aspirations.
- Address student queries through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings.
Admissions & Enrollment Support
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding course offerings, eligibility criteria, fees, and admission procedures.
- Convert inquiries into enrollments through effective counselling and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, counselling sessions, and admissions activities in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Student Engagement & Retention
- Monitor student progress and provide guidance to improve academic performance.
- Identify students facing academic or personal challenges and recommend appropriate support.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Communication & Outreach
- Conduct webinars, seminars, workshops, and career guidance sessions.
- Participate in education fairs, school visits, and promotional events.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on student engagement campaigns.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain counselling records and student databases.
- Prepare periodic reports on counselling activities, conversions, and student feedback.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and admission guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business Administration, Humanities, or a related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in academic counselling, student advising, admissions, or educational sales, freshers can also apply.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered for junior roles.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Compensation
- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Working Hours
- 6-day work week.
- Flexibility to work during weekends or admission seasons when required.
Pay: ₹10,308.26 - ₹18,000.00 per month
