Job Summary
Candidate should have relevant experience of developing Civil and General drawings and models
related to Industrial projects (exposure to other discipline design would be an added advantage)
and having in-depth knowledge and command on Autocad/Bricscad software.
Candidate from Engineering consulting organization would be the preference.
Responsibilities and Duties
Below are the key responsibilities of Civil and General Designer,
1. Development / modification and updating Master plan considering various functions,
buildings, infrastructures, various interfaces
and provisions
according to
Engineer/Architect’s recommendation for new as well as upgradation/expansion projects.
2. Prepare/ develop Centerline drawings,
3. Prepare/Develop Civil Structure drawings and details for RCC as well Steel structures.
4. Prepare/Develop finishing schedules
5. Prepare/Develop various views such as plan, elevations, Cross sections etc.
6. Review and verification of multidisciplinary drawings with reference to civil & architectural
drawings developed, and report & document variations if any and suggest/implement
possible remedies to the variations.
7. Derive Bill of Material from the drawing developed.
8. Collect input from other discipline / functions such as PEB, Mechanical, Fire Fighting &
detection, Electrical, Instrumentation and incorporate their inputs to the drawings in order
to have detailed drawings.
9. In case of low work load, support other discipline projects by developing drawings as per
the guidance and instructions from other discipline engineer.
10. Organize stage review within the project team as well as client on specific stages of the
design development.
11. Take lead and spread positivity in handling every challenging situation and project
demands.
12. Whenever needed, visit the sites (across India / outside India) to collect the site
measurements and develop the As-built drawings as per the project requirement.
13. Ensure adherence on project deliverable submission timeline defined.
14. During the free time slot availability, develop the standard templates/sketches / objects/
sheets / document that can add value to the future assignments of the company and can
help in optimizing the time while delivering the project deliverables in actual.
15. Develop Document Control Register and maintain the submission, approval and revision
history in coordination with project coordinator
16. Candidate must be willing to upgrade his/her skills to next level and improve continuously
in order to take next level responsibility and become an active team member of an
organization.
17. Candidate must be willing to be an active member of Coenz Safety Committee as decided
by QHS head and play an active role in ERT.
18. Candidate must spread positivity and demonstrate leadership in his work profile and willing
to grow him/herself in multi-direction.
19. Candidate must be open to travel/ stay within / outside India for project purpose if needed.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills
1. ITI / Diploma in Engineering
2. Minimum 8 years (for ITI) to 6 Years of experience (for Diploma holder)
Design software – Autocad, Brics Cad, Revit (added advantage), other relevant
Computer proficiency to handle and control his/ her role and responsibility effectively.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
