About the Role
You will be part of the Digital & Interaction team — a cross-functional group dedicated to creating seamless interaction experiences across both digital and physical environments. The team collaborates closely with other design disciplines, including Exterior Design, Interior Design, and Brand Design, to deliver cohesive user experiences throughout the vehicle ecosystem.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will contribute to the design and development of digital products and experiences across a wide range of projects. You combine strong design craft with a broad understanding of what makes products useful, intuitive, and enjoyable to use. You are comfortable working throughout the design process — from exploring concepts and user needs to defining interaction flows, creating wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an overview of the full in-car experience
- Drive design discussions within the team and engage stakeholders
- Ensure a holistic and consistent user and customer experience
- Translate complex function requests into user-friendly experiences
- Ensure quality levels throughout all design processes
- Communicate ideas and work effectively to team members and stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills Required
- You enjoy solving complex problems and turning them into simple, elegant experiences, translating user insights, product requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive solutions. You will work closely with designers, developers, and product stakeholders to shape experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability
- Ability to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces for digital touchpoints
- Good knowledge of creating detailed UI animations
- Experience using design systems and creating specifications for implementation
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, strategists, and product managers throughout the design process
- A diverse portfolio highlighting projects that demonstrate experience in crafting digital user interfaces
- Experience creating interaction flows
- Experience conducting user research and testing

Additional Information
- Travel required, including approx. 1–2 trips per year to China
- High level of responsibility and mandate, with an expectation to work autonomously
