Job Title: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Job Summary:
The Secondary Mathematics Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging mathematics lessons to students in secondary grades (typically Grades 6–10 or 6–12, depending on the school). The teacher fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Teach mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and arithmetic as appropriate to grade level.
- Assess student learning through assignments, quizzes, projects, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their performance.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and assessment data.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Support extracurricular activities, mathematics clubs, competitions, or remedial/enrichment programs as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Valid teaching certification/licensure as required by local regulations.
- Strong subject knowledge in secondary mathematics.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position based in a school environment.
- Participation in school activities, parent-teacher meetings, examinations, and professional development programs may be required beyond regular teaching hours.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
