- Role Overview
- We are looking for a highly connected and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead Cacaoté’s B2B sales, hospitality partnerships, corporate gifting, catering, and event business. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new revenue channels across hotels, restaurants, cafés, chocolate manufacturers, corporate clients, luxury brands, and international trading partners.
- The ideal candidate has strong relationships within the hospitality and food industry, proven experience selling premium food products, and the ability to represent a luxury brand with confidence and professionalism.
- Key Responsibilities
- B2B Sales & Trading
- Drive sales of Cacaoté’s raw ingredients including couverture chocolates, pralines, nut butters, bakery products, and related specialty ingredients.
- Develop and manage accounts with hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, chocolatiers, caterers, and food manufacturers.
- Identify and execute domestic and international trading opportunities.
- Own the complete sales cycle—from lead generation and product presentation to negotiation, order closure, and client retention.
- Corporate Gifting & Brand Collaborations
- Create partnerships with luxury brands, automobile showrooms, real estate developers, banks, premium retail brands, and corporate houses.
- Develop customized gifting solutions and seasonal campaigns.
- Expand Cacaoté’s brand presence through strategic collaborations and co-branded experiences.
- Events & Catering
- Lead all catering, event, and bulk-order business for Cacaoté.
- Conceptualize and host brand events, tasting sessions, launches, and hospitality networking evenings at Cacaoté.
- Coordinate event execution with kitchen, operations, and management teams.
- Client Engagement & Product Demonstration
- Travel regularly to meet clients and prospects across cities and markets.
- Conduct product tastings, sampling sessions, and presentations.
- Educate clients on product quality, sourcing, applications, and customization options.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and production team to develop solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Targets & Reporting
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets across B2B, gifting, catering, and events.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and CRM/database of hospitality and corporate clients.
- Provide regular market intelligence, competitor insights, and growth opportunities to management.
- Candidate Profile
- We are specifically looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B food sales, hospitality sales, premium FMCG, gourmet ingredients, or luxury gifting.
- A strong network within the hotel, restaurant, café (HoReCa), catering, and hospitality industry.
- Proven experience handling key accounts and generating repeat business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A polished and professional personality suited to a luxury brand environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively and represent Cacaoté at client meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Experience with international trading/export sales is a strong advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
