Position Overview
The Senior HR Business Partner/HR Manager will play a strategic role in driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR operations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders to attract, develop, engage, and retain top technology talent while fostering a collaborative and performance-driven workplace culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Human Resources
- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent management.
- Drive HR transformation initiatives and implement industry best practices.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical positions across multiple business functions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand resource requirements and hiring priorities.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, recruitment agencies, and professional networks.
- Conduct candidate screening, competency-based interviews, salary negotiations, and offer management.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience while maintaining recruitment KPIs.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage complete employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, confirmation, promotions, transfers, and separation.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRMS with high accuracy.
- Ensure smooth execution of HR operations while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
- Develop and standardize HR policies, SOPs, and process documentation.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work culture.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and retention strategies.
- Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Performance Management
- Drive the organization's performance management framework.
- Coordinate goal-setting, performance reviews, probation evaluations, and annual appraisal cycles.
- Coach managers on performance improvement plans and employee development.
- Support leadership in identifying high-potential employees and succession planning.
Learning & Organizational Development
- Identify organizational capability gaps and training needs.
- Coordinate technical, behavioral, and leadership development programs.
- Support career development, mentoring, and employee growth initiatives.
HR Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal company policies.
- Support audits related to HR documentation and compliance.
- Maintain ethical HR practices while safeguarding employee confidentiality.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare and present HR dashboards and MIS reports covering recruitment, attrition, headcount, diversity, employee engagement, and workforce analytics.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Utilize HR data to support strategic business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in an IT Services, Software Development, Product Engineering, SaaS, or Technology organization.
- Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end HR functions in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience working with HRMS, ATS platforms, and HR analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in technical recruitment for Software Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and other technology roles.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, and other talent sourcing platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile software development environments and technology workforce planning.
- Experience in employee engagement, employer branding, retention strategies, and organizational development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/HRMS platforms, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
