We, at Travmonde, are expanding our presence in India and are looking for a results-driven Business Development Representative to grow our network of travel partners across the country.
This role is focused on acquiring Indian travel agents, building strong relationships, and directly contracting with them to onboard them onto our platform.

Role Description
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team in a contract-based, remote capacity. This role involves Identify, approach, and onboard travel agents across India. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with partners, and drive outbound outreach and lead generation activities. Success in this role is achieved by developing and executing a structured market expansion plan. You will negotiate commercial terms and close partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Strong network or understanding of the Indian travel industry
- Proven ability in lead generation, outreach, and deal closing
- Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, with a passion for travel experiences
- Goal-oriented mindset, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setup
- Strong organizational and pipeline management skills
- Previous experience in sales or account management roles; experience in the travel industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Fluent in English; additional Indian languages are a strong advantage
